Ugreen Uno: power bank, emoji and magnetic wireless charging

Ugreen has expanded its line of new chargers with a whole range of devices with TFT displays. Today we will talk about a power bank with a nominal capacity of 10,000 mAh and a set of additional goodies.

 

Design

 

 

The Ugreen Uno is a relatively compact portable battery. One side is completely flat and you should place your smartphone on it for wireless charging.

 

On the other side of the case there is a large protrusion, which houses a monochrome display with animation. They are turned on during operation. Several of the service ones display the charge level, and others are for aesthetics. Before turning on, the charge level numbers are also displayed.

 

 

Another feature is the adjustable stand. It is made in the form of a movable frame rotating along the body. Yes, this power bank can act as a support for a smartphone. Due to the not very slippery coating, accessories do not slide off very much. The angle of the stand can be adjusted so that it is convenient to view content on a mobile device.

 

The real magic is designed for their majesty iPhones, which can be magnetized by the body thanks to MagSafe in the Ugreen Uno itself. The large total weight also makes the power bank more stable.

 

 

There are a minimum of buttons and connectors on the case. Near the corner on one end there is a small power button, on the other – a USB Type-C connector.

 

What’s inside

 

Traditionally, in a compact but functional device, all the magic happens inside. We have already talked about magnetic wireless charging. Wireless charging can provide fast charging with a power of up to 15 W. The portable battery itself charges at a power of 20 W.

 

 

And the only USB port works both as input and output. You can’t charge smartphones via cable and wireless charging at the same time, but you can charge the power bank itself.

 

The Ugreen Uno has two 5000 mAh lithium polymer batteries. The effective capacity is 6000 mAh when charging at a current of 2.4A with a voltage of 5V. In practice, this means that you can charge two iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro or slightly less than two Galaxy S24 Ultra from the power bank.

 

The number of smartphones is a pretty telling statement. It emphasizes that in addition to the charging function, secondary features are also important here, meaning the stand for the smartphone. And the design solution with emojis on the screen, of course.

 

Impressions

 

Ugreen Uno is an interesting portable battery with sufficient battery capacity, a magnetic way to hold smartphones and a designer chip. High-quality assembly, well-thought-out ergonomics, reliable electronic components are traditional attributes of the company’s devices. True, in this capacity class, its dimensions are too large. But the extra dimensions were compensated by other advantages. It is also stated that the power bank is allowed to be carried in hand luggage by airplane passengers. But we cannot verify this yet.
