Despite the openness of the Internet, finding the most obvious information can sometimes be difficult. This also applies to the design of profiles on social networks: graphics, covers and thumbnails on social networks. The image sizes for different social networks are not the same, and they are designed for devices of different diagonals. Each of the social networks has adaptation in the browser or its own application.
In addition to different sizes, profile covers also have different aspect ratios, so just a large graphic file will not be enough. In order not to spend too much time searching, we have compiled for you a list of sizes for profile pictures uploaded for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn and Instagram.

- Page/profile cover: 851 x 315
- Profile photo: 180 x 180
- Page tab thumbnail size: 111 x 74
- Image for publication-link: min. 600 x 315
- Photo of the publication in the chronicle: min. 504 x 504
- Group cover: 801 x 250
- Event cover: 784 × 295
Twitter picture size
YouTube picture size
- Channel design: 2560 x 1440
- Video thumbnail: 1280 x 720
- Channel icon: 800 x 800
Google+ picture size
- Cover: 1080 by 608
- Profile photo: 250 x 250
LinkedIn Picture Size
- Profile photo: 500 x 500
- Cover: 646 x 220
- Logo size: 100 x 60 for horizontal or 50 x 50 for square
Instagram picture size
- Profile photo: minimum 110 x 110
- For better quality, use a resolution of at least 640×640
