Review of the Asus P526 communicator
30.11.07First of all, I would like to note the excellent configuration of this device. A car kit that includes a special holder and a cigarette lighter charger encourages active use of this device for GPS navigation. I liked the quality of the receiver itself, but the rather small screen of the communicator does not allow it to be used comfortably in this mode. The Asus P526 gets quite a lot of attention, although this of course largely depends on the GPS software installed.

Features of using the communicator with various programs and files are determined by its technical characteristics. If for most tasks the installed 200 megahertz processor is quite enough, then, for example, for trouble-free video playback it will probably need to be converted.

But I really liked using the Asus P526 as a phone and the controls. The design and elements of the special Asus Launcher application are very reminiscent of the menu of regular mobile phones, which will be very useful for those who are just starting to master the Windows Mobile OS. And a numeric keypad with additional buttons and a Jog Dial sometimes allows you to do without a stylus altogether.
