UGCR conducted almost 3,000 tests and technical examinations in 2023

In 2023, the number and complexity of experimental research performed by the Certification Center increased quite significantly. In addition, 357 agreements have been concluded, including 14 international ones, as well as three agreements with scientific institutions of Ukraine on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of testing and conformity assessment of technical equipment.
Based on the results of the work of the specialists of the Central Center of the UGCR, 368 certificates were issued over the year, more than 2 thousand were carried out and documented in protocols (tests, analyses), more than 50 requests were processed, for which professional answers were provided.
During testing, specialists from the UGCR Certification Center identified 24 types of equipment that did not meet the requirements of the Technical Regulations (radio stations, multimedia devices, “charging stations,” power supplies, children’s electric toys, security alarm devices, etc.) .
Inconsistencies with the following indicators were identified: electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – 54%, functional parameters (radio parameters) – 25%, electrical safety – 21%. The 2023 results show that the number of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) non-conformities increased by 10% compared to 2022.
