The anniversary of the Logitech G502 gaming mouse was celebrated with a stream with famous Ukrainian pro gamers

The Logitech representative office organized the event in an interesting format. TOP gamers, e-sportsmen and commentators on gaming events from Ukraine gathered in one studio to talk about the history, realities and future of gaming.

Among the guests: presenter and streamer Mikhail Olsior Zverev, esports expert and analyst Alexey Bafik Bafadarov, presenter and streamer Denis Loran Zhurid, professional VALORANT player Evgeniy MonOkson Nosko and community Lead NAVI – Andrey Dobzwer Grishchenko.

The event was also joined by special guests, namely GameDev DOU editor Alexander Peremot, editor-in-chief of the site hi-tech.ua Dmitry Tabakov and video producer and Root-Nation editor Denis Zaichenko.

“Over the past decade, we have seen the incredible development of the G502 mouse, which has become a symbol of innovation and cutting-edge technology in gaming. Starting with the original model, each generation amazed gamers around the world with its unique capabilities and ease of use,” says Mikhail Olsior Zverev.

The participants discussed how gaming originated in Ukraine and how it became a subculture:

“My story began when I downloaded Unreal Tournament onto my parents’ laptop in first grade and started playing a lot. It was with this game that my passion for the Gaming industry and FPS shooters began,” Evgeniy MonOkson Nosko tells his own story.

It all started probably in 2001, when I started playing Warcraft 2, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament. The main example was my father, who played himself and still continues to do so. He watches all NAVI matches and always shares his thoughts about our performances,” adds Andrey Dobzwer Grishchenko.

The main games that have made a great contribution to GameDev over the past 10 years were not left without attention:

“My story started with traditional Doom and Quake. In general, Tekken, HoMM, Legacy of Kain had a big influence. Over the past 10 years, many games have also been released that left vivid memories – The Witcher, The Last of Us, God of War, Returnal,” Alexander Peremot, editor of GameDev DOU, shares his opinion.

Dmitry Tabakov, editor-in-chief of the site hi-tech.ua, also shared his own list of favorite games, additionally pointing out a pressing problem that sometimes interferes with enjoying the game: “The plot of the games is getting better and better: Wolfenstein, God of War, Last of Us, Assassin’s Creed. But they are spoiled by grinding, artificially extending game time and the desire to add microtransactions.”

At the event, participants reminisced about the evolution of gaming over the past decade and the impact of technologies like the G502 on the gaming experience. Alexey Bafik Bafadarov noted that nowadays everything evolves – games and devices develop simultaneously. If we talk about gaming for fun, then devices should be convenient and reliable. And if we talk about professional ones, then we also add a review of the device and its wide range of settings. All these parameters are united by the Logitech G line of devices.
