Viwoods has unveiled the AiPaper Reader, an ultra-thin e-reader that combines Android 16, an E Ink display, and built-in artificial intelligence.

What’s Known


The device features a 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1300 display with a resolution of 824×1648 pixels and a pixel density of 300 PPI, ensuring crisp text and eye comfort. The AiPaper Reader’s body is 6.7 mm thick and weighs only 138 g, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag, while its thin bezels maximize the amount of text on the screen.

The device’s key feature is its built-in AI companion, accessible via a physical button. With it, users can get explanations of terms and translations directly in the text, create summaries, analyze the plot, and save responses with quotes and sources, which is especially useful when reading educational or professional materials.
