The first patient who was implanted with a brain chip from the company Neuralink has already completely recovered and is learning new skills. The founder of the startup, Elon Musk, said that a patient can control a computer mouse with the help of thoughts. “Progress is good and the patient appears to have completely recovered without any adverse effects that we know of,” Musk said.

Last month, the company passed another important milestone in its history – specialists successfully implanted a brain chip in its first patient after the company received permission to participate in human trials. Soon after, Musk wrote on his Twitter account that the first results showed promising indicators of neural spikes.
