In addition, the camera has two Type A CFexpress card slots and supports UHS-I and UHS-II SD cards, as well as built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi for faster data transfer.

The cost of the Sony Alpha 9 III camera in Ukraine is approximately 284,999 UAH.

What is a global shutter in cameras

The global shutter captures all of its pixels at once. To understand the potential benefits this brings, it’s worth understanding the alternative: progressive shutters, used in most large-sensor cameras.

Most cameras use a mechanical shutter mechanism to end an exposure, and most also use it to start one. Mechanical shutters are usually a series of thin blades that cover the sensor to prevent additional light from reaching it beyond the time you want to take the photo. But although they move very quickly, starting and ending the exposure, they are not instantaneous. This means that the top of the photo is captured a split second before the end of the photo.

In most cases this won’t make any difference, but there are circumstances in which it will affect the image, and that’s where global shutters have an advantage.
