The Quantum-Systems company plans to launch a new production facility in Ukraine, which will be the company’s second enterprise in our country. By the end of 2024, approximately 100 specialists are expected to work at the plant.
The agreement on the location of production in Ukraine was reached as a result of a meeting between the Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshyn, and the German delegation, headed by the Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economy and Climate, Robert Habek. Quantum-Systems plans to invest up to six million euros in production over the next two years.
The company already produces multirotor aircraft at three facilities for the civil and public sectors, and the new facility will be the fourth facility for the German company. The new venture is expected to increase the company’s production capacity to 1,000 unmanned aerial vehicles per year, including the production of spare parts.
Unmanned aerial vehicles from Quantum-Systems, including the Vector model, have been actively used in Ukraine since 2022.
