Viber_22.02.2018

Viber has received a number of new features, including mentions in group chats, improved voice messages and automatic chat backups for Android users.

To use the mention feature in Viber, you need to enter the “@” symbol in the chat line, after which a list of all chat participants will be displayed on the screen. After this, you can select who the user intends to contact. Even if the selected user has chat notifications turned off, they will still receive a mention message.

Viber voice messages are one of the most popular communication formats in this and other messengers. With the update of Viber to version 8.3, users will receive a new player with improved sound quality and an increased maximum recording length – now it is 60 seconds.

In addition, it will now be possible to activate automatic backups – daily, weekly or monthly – of your entire chat archive.
