How much NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and 4070 video cards cost in Ukraine? Prices review

Valve published new statistics Steam according to which, affordable models of GeForce RTX 4000 series video cards are gaining popularity. Yes, 3060 is in the top in terms of the number of uses in PCs, but the new generation is also slowly growing. Although mining slowed down last year and is now picking up again, GeForce RTX 4060 and 4070 are at least not in such great short supply as before. But this only applies to the presence of video cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. What about the prices?

Let’s see which video cards based on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and 4070 can be bought in Ukraine. We will choose among the official points of sale. The guarantee and fulfillment of obligations in this case are especially important, since the video cards of gray carriers may not necessarily be new, but prepared after mining. The main selection criterion is still price.

Characteristics of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 video card

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 received an AD107-400 graphics processor, with 3072 CUDA cores and a frequency of 2460 Hz. It is complemented by 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 17,000 Hz, a 128-bit bus and a bandwidth of 272 GB/s.

Due to support for DLSS 3, it will provide a performance increase of up to 1.7 times compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 and up to 2.3 times compared to the GeForce RTX 2060.

By the way, two versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti were also released along with it – with 8 and 16 GB of memory. The GPU configuration of both versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti memory is the same – the cards differ only in the amount of video memory and price. But the solution itself with the Ti prefix is more expensive, so today we will concentrate on the standard versions.

Characteristics of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070

The GeForce RTX 4070 is based on the NVIDIA AD104 crystal. A configuration with 5888 CUDA cores, 184 tensor cores, 46 RT cores and a 192-bit memory bus was used.

The GPU frequency ranges from1920 to 2475 MHz. The video buffer is 12 GB GDDR6X with an effective frequency of 21 GHz and a bandwidth of 504 GB / s. The standard TGP level is 200 W.

The gaming performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 video card generally corresponds to the level of the GeForce RTX 3080 10GB model.

Interestingly, in the RTX 4060 models, manufacturers play a little more with boost frequencies. There is much less of this in the 4070 models. At the same time, the compact model from Inno3D turned out to be top in price – that is, the cheapest 4060. It has one cooler and a reference level of frequency overclocking. But the RTX 4070 no longer has this, all video cards are large – two or three fans, since they have more power. The 4070 video cards are noticeably more expensive than the 4060 and have a big performance boost, replacing the previous generation flagship 3080.

Well, as a general conclusion regarding the cost. A video card is one of the most expensive components, especially when it comes to an average-performance PC build based on the latest generations of Intel Core i5. In the case of the 4060, the processor will be at the same price as it, and in the case of the 4070, it will be approximately half the price. True, for the 4070 it still makes sense to look towards the Core i7.
