Asus Refreshes ExpertBook P3 G2 Lineup with Intel Core 7 Series 3 and 64GB RAM

Asus has expanded its business laptop series by introducing the ExpertBook P3 G2 in 14-inch and 16-inch form factors, powered by Intel processors. These new additions complement the existing lineup, which previously featured models on the AMD platform.

Specifications and Hardware

The new laptops, designated P3406CMA (14-inch) and P3606CMA (16-inch), are equipped with the latest Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the exact processor models. The laptop cooling system is designed to maintain stable performance even under sustained workloads.

The specifications for memory and storage are as follows:

  • RAM: Two SO-DIMM slots supporting up to 64GB of DDR5-5600.
  • Storage: One M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot and an additional M.2 2230 slot, supporting up to 1TB out of the box with user-expandability up to 2TB.

Design and Durability

Both models feature a “Misty Grey” chassis and are identical in design. Special attention was paid to structural reliability: the laptops have passed MIL-STD-810H certification. For user comfort, the keyboard offers a 1.5mm key travel, and the touchpad has been enlarged compared to previous generations.

Security Features

The Asus ExpertGuardian security system includes a BIOS compliant with the NIST SP 800-155 standard, a TPM 2.0 module, and 5 years of driver and firmware update support from the manufacturer. Additionally, the package includes a Kensington lock slot and a one-year subscription to McAfee+ Premium.

Battery Life and Extra Features

Asus claims long battery life and fast charging support, although specific battery capacity figures or projected hours of operation have not yet been announced. The laptops also support multiple high-resolution external monitors and feature dedicated hotkeys for video conferencing management.

Price and Availability

At this time, there is no information regarding the pricing of the ExpertBook P3 G2 series. There is also no official data on the launch dates. Company representatives note that technical specifications and configuration availability may vary depending on the region.
