Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price Hike Leaves Fans Disappointed
28.08.26
Samsung has officially announced the long-awaited Galaxy S26 FE smartphone. Despite interest in the device, the company’s pricing strategy has raised questions among users: the new model is noticeably more expensive than its predecessor, the S25 FE.
What to Know About the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Release Date
The smartphone will be available through carriers and retailers very soon, with the official launch scheduled for Friday, September 4. The model is already appearing on the official Samsung website, where you can view its available configurations.
Price Difference Compared to the S25 FE
The price increase affects the entire lineup. The base Galaxy S26 FE with 128 GB of storage starts at $700 (€800 / 33,000 UAH). For comparison, the Galaxy S25 FE cost $650 (€750 / 30,900 UAH) at launch. The difference is $50 (€50 / 2,100 UAH).
For top-tier versions, the gap is even more significant. The 256 GB model costs €900 ($900 / 37,100 UAH), which is €90 more than last year. The 512 GB variant is priced at €1,100 ($1,100 / 45,400 UAH), whereas the S25 FE 512 GB version cost €930—a price increase of €170.

Expert Opinion
Although regional availability for the 512 GB versions is limited (for example, this option is absent in the US), for European buyers, such a high price point invites comparison with flagship models. Given that prices for the 12/512 GB version of the Galaxy S26 Ultra often drop to €1,100–1,200, the value proposition of the FE version at the current price seems highly questionable.
