Xiaomi 13T Pro and Poco F5 owners worldwide are reporting the arrival of the HyperOS 3 update. This rollout marks a significant milestone for both devices, though the implementation differs based on the hardware’s update cycle.
Xiaomi 13T Pro: Android 16 and Fixed Stability
For the Xiaomi 13T Pro, this isn’t the first encounter with HyperOS 3. The update was initially released over a month ago but was quickly retracted after users reported critical issues, including random reboots and bootloops. Xiaomi appears to have resolved these bugs, as the new build is now being pushed to users globally. Notably, the 13T Pro receives HyperOS 3 based on the latest Android 16 operating system. Users who haven’t seen the notification yet can check for it manually in the Settings menu.
Poco F5: HyperOS 3 on Android 15
The Poco F5 is also joining the HyperOS 3 family, but with a key difference: it is based on Android 15 rather than Android 16. This is due to the device’s update policy, as it has already received two major Android OS upgrades since its launch. Consequently, Xiaomi is providing the new HyperOS 3 interface and features while maintaining the previous Android version as the foundation.
