WhatsApp will now allow you to send scheduled messages
25.02.26
A new feature has been discovered in the WhatsApp for iOS that expands the possibilities of sending messages. This is support for scheduled messages that can be sent automatically at a specified time. This was reported by the WABetaInfo resource, which found a mention of the function in the beta version 26.7.10.72.
Judging by the published information, to create a scheduled message, the user needs to enter text, select the date and time of sending, after which the system will automatically deliver it to the recipient at the specified time. This mechanism can be used for reminders, greetings, or pre-prepared messages that are important to send without the risk of forgetting.
The published screenshot demonstrates the function in a group chat, but it is expected that a similar option will appear in individual correspondence.
There is no official confirmation of the launch of the function in the public version yet. Currently, “Scheduled Messages” are under development and are not available even to participants in the beta testing program.
