Vodafone Ukraine will also receive a new network code – tel numbers starting with +380 75
05.03.24
The communications operator Vodafone applied to the NKRZI with an application for granting permission to use the numbering resource of the mobile network code on the territory of Ukraine. The operator will be able to offer its subscribers the numbers +380 75 … .. .. . The network capacity for this code is 10 million numbers.
In their statement, representatives of Vodafone Ukraine indicated that it currently uses network codes 50, 66, 95 and 99. Each of the codes has a capacity of 10 million numbers. Currently, more than 80% of the number resource has already been used for the first three of the specified codes. For code 99, this figure is more than 77%. Therefore, the operator had a need for an additional numbering resource to ensure “sustainability of networks”.
Previously, NKRZI granted permission to Kyivstar to using the destination network code 77 for the mobile network. Thus, from now on, the operator will be able to provide its subscribers with telephone numbers with the new code 77. That is, new Kyivstar numbers will start with +380 77 … .. .. Before this decision, Kyivstar used network codes 67, 68, 96, 97 and 98.
