Turn Your Smartphone Into a Thermal Imager With Rision Magic Modules

Превратите свой смартфон в тепловизор: обзор мобильных камер Rision Magic и Magic Pro

The new Rision Magic and Magic Pro thermal camera lineup is designed to turn any modern iPhone with a USB-C port or Android smartphone into a professional tool for identifying heat leaks, assessing energy efficiency, and other specialized tasks.

The modules plug directly into the smartphone and, when paired with the dedicated app, provide instant thermal mapping on the display.

Specifications and Capabilities

The primary difference between the two models lies in their hardware resolution:

  • Rision Magic: base resolution of 160 × 120 pixels.
  • Rision Magic Pro: upgraded resolution of 256 × 192 pixels.

Both models feature QuadIR Super Resolution technology, allowing for image upscaling for enhanced clarity. A key highlight is the AI Dual-Light Fusion feature, which overlays a thermal map onto the photo taken by the smartphone’s primary camera, ensuring high-level detail of objects and temperature data.

The device is noted for its energy efficiency (consuming just 0.32W) and its ultra-light 25-gram aluminum housing.

The mobile app for these devices significantly simplifies workflows by supporting custom watermarks, automatic GPS tagging, and instant PDF report generation based on measurement results.
