Samsung Exynos 2700 Spotted in Geekbench With Boosted 4.24 GHz Clock Speed

The Samsung S5E9975 processor, widely expected to be the Exynos 2700, has undergone testing in Geekbench AI again. New data indicates a substantial increase in clock speeds compared to the prototype seen in April.
Exynos 2700 Core Configuration and Specs
The engineering sample retains the 1+4+1+4 architectural layout observed in earlier tests this year. However, each of the four clusters is now running at significantly higher speeds. While the April test showed frequencies in the 2.30–2.88 GHz range, the latest entry indicates an push into the 4.3–4.6 GHz range, making the chip highly competitive against the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series.

The processor identifier (implementer 65, part 3478) remains unchanged. This number (0xD96 in hexadecimal) is linked to Arm’s “Canyon” core architecture, presumably the C2-Ultra model—a successor to the C1-Ultra used in the Exynos 2600.
Testing Details and Software Environment
As with the previous Geekbench 6 report, the device labeled S5E9975 ERD is equipped with 10.67 GB of RAM and runs on a build of Android 17. It is important to note that the current measurement was performed in Geekbench AI—a machine learning benchmark rather than a general CPU performance test, which is why single-core or multi-core scores are absent. Nevertheless, the system information confirms the same hardware configuration as before, with the only difference being that the frequencies are now unlocked for stress testing.
Launch Timeline and Outlook
Samsung Exynos 2700 is expected to be manufactured using the second-generation 2nm process (SF2P). This chipset is slated to power the upcoming Galaxy S27 smartphone series, which is expected to launch in about six months. It is important to remember that engineering sample specifications may change before mass production, and the Arm core naming has not yet been officially confirmed.
