The ex-head of Google will open the production of kamikaze drones with artificial intelligence for Ukraine
31.01.24
Information about the founding of the startup White Stork by Eric Schmidt and the involvement of former Google employee Sebastian Thrun is interesting. According to Forbes, this startup intends to develop and produce kamikaze drones with artificial intelligence, intended for use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These drones plan to use AI for visual guidance and function even in the absence of GPS.
Information about this startup is still limited, but according to media reports, its goal is to supply drones for use by the Ukrainian military. Eric Schmidt called for an increase in the supply of drones to Ukraine and suggested that these drones will be able to fly so fast that it will be almost impossible to shoot them down.
The other day, Eric Schmidt wrote an article in Foreign Relations magazine in which he expressed his opinion on the need to develop technologies to counter Russian drones. He also noted that Ukraine needs about 2 million drones, half of which should be manufactured domestically.
So far, neither Eric Schmidt nor representatives of White Stork have provided comments regarding this information.
