Redmi G Pro 2024 announced – the most powerful laptop among models under $1400

Xiaomi has released a range of laptops under the Redmi brand, including both powerful gaming models and updates to previous lines.

Redmi G Pro 2024 will be the most powerful laptop under 10,000 Yuan (approximately $1,400). According to leaks, the top version will receive an Intel Core 9-14900HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics accelerator. It will definitely be possible to install the telegram on the laptop without any problems. A model with an Intel Core i5-14500HX processor and an RTX 4060 video card also appeared on Geekbench.

By the way, the previous model Redmi G Pro was released in 2022. This is a gaming laptop with a 16-inch display, an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card and a price of $1090.

Redmi Book Pro 14 and Redmi Book Pro 16

Redmi Book Pro 14 and Redmi Book Pro 16 are two versions with different screen diagonals. Both models also received a pair of speakers with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, integrated Intel Arc graphics, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a set of ports: Thunderbolt 4, one USB-C, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, an HDMI 2.1 port and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Redmi Book Pro 14 starts at $700, and the 16-inch model starts at $835.

Redmi Book Pro 14 features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, brightness up to 400 nits and refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The all-metal body is 15.9mm thick and the total weight of the device is 1.46kg.

There is a choice of a basic version with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB PCIe 4.0 storage, as well as a configuration with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.

Redmi Book Pro 16 has a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels, a brightness of up to 500 nits and a frequency of 165 Hz. The choice of processors is the same – Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7, but this time the only memory configuration is 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal memory. The cooling system is the same.

This laptop has increased battery capacity to 99 Wh and charging power to 140 W. It weighs 1.88 kg with a case thickness of 15.9 mm.
