New trailer with GTA 6 gameplay will be released August 27 on Netflix
07.08.26
Rockstar Games has announced the date for the next reveal of the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI. The extended reveal will take place on August 27th at 10:00 PM Kyiv time.
Unusually, the GTA 6 premiere will not be held on YouTube or Twitch. The first footage of the new trailer and gameplay will be exclusively available on Netflix, and only six hours later will the video appear on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel and the GTA 6 website. The company has not yet specified whether a Netflix subscription is required to watch the stream.
Judging by the description, viewers can expect not a standard trailer, but a more detailed demonstration of gameplay. The developers are expected to show gameplay, new story scenes, and reveal more about the world of GTA 6. Fans have previously repeatedly noted that Rockstar has yet to reveal full gameplay footage, despite the release being less than three months away.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are now open: in Ukraine, the standard edition costs 3,500 hryvnias, while the deluxe version costs 4,300 hryvnias. The PC version, as expected, will be released later.
GTA 6 will take place in a modern interpretation of Vice City. For the first time in the series’ history, one of the main characters will be a young woman named Lucia, who, along with her partner and lover, Jason, will find herself at the center of a crime story inspired by Bonnie and Clyde.
According to the official description of the game, a failed attempt at easy money draws Jason and Lucia into a massive criminal conspiracy that encompasses the entire state of Leonidas. To escape this predicament, the heroes will have to work together.
