Nokia 102 4G (2026): The classic is back
14.07.26
While the technology market is engulfed in the pursuit of artificial intelligence in every device, Nokia is taking a decisive step back – to the roots. The new Nokia 102 4G 2026 model is aimed at those who need the phone for calls, not for endless consumption of digital content.
Design
The key change is a return to the classic design with the Nokia logo. Of particular note is the abandonment of “AI” on the central button, which was present in the 2025 version. It is obvious that the imposition of AI in a budget “keyboard” with 64 MB of RAM did not meet the expectations of users.

The updated appearance of the device emphasizes the focus on maximum functionality without unnecessary intelligent add-ons.
Technical specifications
The novelty does not claim technological leadership, offering basic functionality for communication:
- Screen: 1.8 inches.
- Camera: 0.3 MP (nominal solution for emergency data capture).
- Autonomy: a 1200 mAh battery combined with an energy-efficient chip will provide work for several days.
- Communication and equipment: 4G support, Bluetooth 5.0 and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.
- Protection: the housing meets the IP52 standard, which guarantees basic resistance to raindrops.
The 0.3 MP camera here performs a purely applied function: to display an important schedule or information when there is no smartphone at hand.
Price and prospects on the market

The release under the Nokia brand, and not HMD, once again proves the value of the old name in the segment of simple “bells”, where the nostalgic feelings of buyers play a key role. The expected cost of the novelty will be 159 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately UAH 990 ($22).
Nokia 102 4G is a tool devoid of modern “intellectual husk”. If you need a compact and autonomous phone for communication, returning to such a classic can be a rational choice in the era of oversaturation of smartphones.
