Huawei has introduced a new model of smart sunglasses – Eyewear 2. These glasses look like classic sunglasses and are equipped with UV400 protective lenses that block ultraviolet rays.
In terms of smart features, Eyewear 2 runs on the HarmonyOS 4 operating system and automatically connects to smartphones and tablets running the same OS.
Built-in speakers allow the user to listen to music, take calls and give commands to the voice assistant. Control is carried out using touch panels on the arms. The glasses also have IP54 splash protection and provide up to 11 hours of operation on a single charge.
Huawei Eyewear 2 will go on sale in China on May 24 for $320. It is not yet known whether they will be available on the global market.
