Google has officially announced the debut date of the Pixel 11

Google has confirmed the official date of the announcement of the flagship Pixel 11 line. Although the design of the novelty is officially hidden in the shadows, information about it has been circulating on the network for a long time thanks to early leaks of renders. The presentation is also expected to debut the Pixel Watch 5 smart watch.

Details of the presentation

According to Mark Gurman, the presentation of the device will take place on August 12. The event will begin at 6 PM ET, which for residents of Ukraine corresponds to 1:00 AM on August 13. The company has already provided the first image of the smartphone, which shows the contours of the sides of the case.

Key features of Pixel 11

Pixel 11 smartphones will receive significant technical improvements:

• Processor: the new Tensor G6 chip, made according to the 2-nm process at TSMC.
• RAM: options with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM.
• Screens: the diagonals will remain the same, but the brightness will increase to 3100 nits in the basic model and to 3600 nits in the Pro version.
• Cameras: a comprehensive update of the entire sensor system is planned. The base model has a 50MP main camera.

Pixel 11 prices

According to preliminary data, the base price of the smartphone in Europe will be €999. This is €100 more expensive than the starting price of the predecessor, while Google plans to abandon the 128 GB memory modification. Each subsequent memory configuration will also increase in price by €100. At current exchange rates, this is equivalent to approximately UAH 45,350 ($1,095). Exact local prices will depend on taxes and retailer policies.
