Xiaomi air conditioner adjust air flow while locate human in the room
13.03.26
Xiaomi has introduced a new air conditioner Mijia Air Conditioner Human-Sensing Wind 1.5HP. It can detect the presence of a person in the room and automatically change the direction and strength of the air flow.
The new product has already gone on sale in China on the Xiaomi Mall platform. The starting price is $347, while the standard retail price is stated at 3899 yuan.
Sensors determine the position of a person in the room
The air conditioner is equipped with two millimeter radars that record the presence of people and their location in the room in real time.
Based on this data, the system automatically adjusts the direction of the air flow. For example, the device can avoid direct blowing on the user, soften the flow if a person is nearby, or, conversely, direct cooling towards the user.
Performance and design
The model received an air panel with an area of 908 cm and a transverse fan with blades with a diameter of 108 mm. The maximum air flow volume reaches 780 m³ per hour.
According to the manufacturer, the system is able to cool or heat the room in about three minutes. The air flow range reaches 10 meters, which allows you to evenly distribute the temperature in the room. The noise level of the device is declared at 16 dB.
Control via AI and Xiaomi ecosystem
The air conditioner works on the basis of the Mijia Lingyun control system with artificial intelligence functions. Algorithms analyze usage scenarios and automatically optimize the operation of the device.
The model also supports integration with the HyperOS operating system, the Mi Home application, and the Xia voice assistant
Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Human-Sensing Wind 1.5HP has a Level 1 energy efficiency class with an APF of 5.32. Additional features include self-cleaning of the indoor and outdoor units, antibacterial filters, and a cloud diagnostics system that monitors the condition of the air conditioner.
