Version 9.21 is a stable release, succeeding previous 9.xx builds (starting from 9.17 and including 9.19). It is important to note that this update is not related to the recent 18.19 beta version, but offers a direct improvement for the main device software branch.

The key goal of the new software version was resolving display performance issues. According to official Garmin data, firmware 9.21 increases gesture sensitivity for screen activation. The update also resolves a series of random, unspecified bugs that were previously observed in the system.

How to Update
As of August 28, 2026 (00:00 Kyiv time), the update has been automatically delivered to approximately 50% of compatible smartwatches. Stable software rollouts typically take several days. If you do not wish to wait for the automatic installation, you can update manually via the device menu:
- Go to Menu.
- Select System.
- Tap Software Update.
- Select Check For Updates.
