Samsung Galaxy A27: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Upgraded Selfie Camera Leaked

Galaxy A27

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A27 has recently surfaced in the Geekbench online database, providing a first look at its internal specifications. The leak confirms that Samsung is moving away from its proprietary Exynos chips for this model, opting instead for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. One of the tested versions features 6GB of RAM, suggesting a solid mid-range performance profile for the new device.

Hardware and Performance Upgrades

The shift to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 marks a significant change for the A2x series. While the Galaxy A26 relied on different hardware, the A27 aims for better efficiency and processing power. Beyond the chipset, rumors suggest that the device will maintain a familiar design language while focusing on internal refinements to enhance the overall user experience and system stability.

Camera Specifications and Release Timeline

The most notable change comes to the front-facing camera. Although the resolution is technically dropping to 12MP from the 13MP found on the Galaxy A26, the new sensor is expected to offer superior image quality. This upgrade focuses on better performance in low-light environments, ensuring sharper and clearer selfies. On the back, the setup remains consistent with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, which is identical to the previous generation.

According to current leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A27 is scheduled for a summer launch, though some sources suggest it could be pushed to the start of fall. As the release date approaches, more details regarding its display and battery capacity are expected to emerge.
