S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: New Content Xbox Partner Preview
26.03.26
A few days ahead of the Xbox Partner Preview, scheduled for March 26, 2026, a teaser featuring a fragment of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 appeared online, immediately drawing the attention of players. Judging by the footage, this could be part of new content or a minor update to the game.
Moments Inside the Zone

The clip lasts only three seconds but highlights key details. At the center of attention is the administrative building of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, where, according to sources, some of the new content’s events will take place. The footage also shows an anomaly in a spacious turbine hall reminiscent of a nuclear plant workshop. Stalkers are seen gathering near a helicopter. One character in an armored suit with red elements stands out, possibly indicating connections to the “Duty” faction.
New Devices and Characters

According to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 News, the video was likely created using Unreal Engine 5.4. The clip features a new anomaly detector model, “Svarog,” as well as what appears to be a new rifle, night vision equipment, and characters Zulu and Mavka. The setting shown may be the control room of Reactor 1 at Chernobyl. Additionally, rumors suggest that Skif will return to the NDIChAZ for the first time since the events of the “Signal” expansion.
Patch 1.9 and Player Expectations
Earlier rumors indicated that Patch 1.9 will not be a major update but will add a limited set of content: a single new quest, a separate location, bug fixes, and new loading screens. At the same time, fans hope that a full expansion will be announced during the Xbox Partner Preview on March 26.
