Kyivstar received another network code. New Ukrainian numbers will start with +380 77

NCRSI granted permission to Kyivstar to use the destination network code 77 for the mobile communications network. Thus, from now on the operator will be able to provide its subscribers with telephone numbers with the new code 77.
That is, new Kyivstar numbers will start with +380 77… .. .. Before this decision, Kyivstar used network codes 67, 68, 96, 97 and 98.
The network capacity for each of these codes is 10 million numbers. Consequently, the operator’s number resource was 50 million numbers. At the same time, the share of resource use reached 79% of the total capacity. Thanks to the new decision of the NCRSI, the numbering resource of Kyivstar increased by 20%.
