HMD introduced four new Nokia feature phones with AI assistant
04.07.26
HMD Global has quietly introduced four new feature phone models under the Nokia brand: Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition, Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and Nokia 200 4G. A key feature of the new products is the appearance of a dedicated button for calling the built-in AI assistant.
What are the new Nokias with AI?
These devices are aimed at those who value classic functionality in a modern design. The main innovation is AI based on Sikey AI, integrated directly into the interface. It allows you to control phone functions using voice commands: turn on the flashlight, launch the camera, set alarms, create reminders, or make calls.
Users can also ask basic questions to the AI assistant. Important to note: Access to AI is free for the first 180 days only. After the trial period, you will be required to sign up for a paid subscription, which must be purchased directly from the device.
Characteristics and design features
The phones retain the recognizable design of classic Nokias, but with the addition of metallic accents around the selfie camera and earpiece. All models run S30+ OS and are equipped with 1450 mAh batteries. The devices support a cloud service that allows you to monitor the weather forecast, sports news and watch videos without loading the phone’s memory.

Comparison of display and camera characteristics
| Models | Screen diagonal | Camera |
| Nokia 215 4G 2nd Ed / 235 4G 2nd Ed | 2.8 inches IPS (QVGA) | Front and main (VGA) |
| Nokia 210 4G / 200 4G | 2.4 inches (QVGA) | Main (2 MP) |
Functionality and connectivity
In addition to 4G support, all presented new products received a modern USB-C connector for charging, a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and FM radio. There is also an Xpress Chat video calling feature. At the moment, there is no detailed information about the cost of new products (aproximate prices may be announced later for each specific region).
Is it worth buying new HMD feature phones?
Purchasing such models in Ukraine hardly makes sense, even if you need a simple “second phone” for communication or a device for digital detox. The presence of 4G, modern connectors and good battery life makes this phone seem like a practical choice. However, it is worth considering that the capabilities of the AI assistant will be limited by a paid subscription after six months of use, so the presence of AI in the phone becomes useless.
