Lenovo has expanded its Yoga tablet lineup with two new flagship models. At the IFA trade show, the manufacturer showcased the Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2. Both devices run on Android 17 and feature 3840 × 2560 resolution displays, though they differ in screen size, hardware platform, memory capacity, and audio systems.

Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 Specifications

The entry-level Yoga Tab Gen 2 is designed for high-quality media consumption. It features an 11.1-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 × 2560 pixels (415 ppi, 3:2 aspect ratio).

  • Brightness up to 1100 nits and support for Dolby Vision technology.
  • Display refresh rate: 30 to 144 Hz (adaptive).
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9500s.
  • Memory: 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage with microSD expansion up to 2 TB.
  • Cameras: 13 MP main, 8 MP front + 0.3 MP (VGA).

Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 Specifications

The higher-end Tab Plus Gen 2 offers a larger screen and increased power. The model features a 13-inch display (3840 × 2560 pixels) with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
  • RAM: 12 or 16 GB, internal storage: 256 or 512 GB (microSD slot included).
  • Cameras: 13 MP main + 2 MP macro; 8 MP front + 0.3 MP (VGA).
  • 12,700 mAh battery with 68W charging support.
  • Audio: six SLS speakers (Harman Kardon) and two microphones.

Design Features and Functionality

One of the unique features of both tablets is an LED indicator on the rear panel. It reacts to on-screen content and synchronizes with music, video, or gameplay.

To expand device functionality, Lenovo has included support for the Tab Pen Pro 2 stylus and keyboard accessories. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 comes bundled with a branded magnetic keyboard cover.

Beyond the latest hardware, Lenovo promises long-term software support. The manufacturer plans to update the tablets to Android 24, with security updates continuing until 2033, marking a seven-year support lifecycle.

Official sales in Europe start in September. Recommended retail prices are as follows:
