Casio to launch smart ring watch with heart rate monitor: reveal date announced

Casio is preparing the release of a smart ring with a heart rate sensor: the presentation date is known

Japanese tech giant Casio is preparing to expand its range of wearable devices. Judging by recent teasers, the company plans to introduce a new smart ring model equipped with a heart rate sensor. Previously, information about this new product under the code number CRW-H001 already appeared in the Chinese CMIIT database.

What is known about the new Casio smart ring

According to the latest data, the new product will be a continuation of the Casio Ring Watch line. Rumors about the CRW-H001 model first appeared back in May 2026. It is assumed that the letter “H” in the name directly indicates the presence of a built-in heart rate monitor – similar technology has already been successfully used in the Casio G-Squad GBD-H2000 series watches.

Silhouette of the new Casio ring

The brand’s Chinese account posted an intriguing teaser with a promising caption “new frontiers right at your fingertips.” The image shows the laconic design of the device with a characteristic red highlight on the inner edge of the ring.

Series history and functional features

The first generation of Casio rings, CRW-001, was released at the end of 2024 in honor of the brand’s 50th anniversary. The accessory was in great demand and regularly sold out, receiving additional deliveries (the last of which was recorded in July 2025 in the USA). The original model included dual time zone functions, a 1/100 second stopwatch, and LED backlighting, but no sensors for health monitoring.

The new CRW-H001 could be a serious competitor to popular smart rings such as the Oura Ring 4, currently priced at $399 on Amazon despite the previous CRW-001 being priced at $699. Still, Casio has the enormous authority of a watch brand, as well as a focus not only on health, but also on time.

If Casio can implement accurate health tracking while maintaining the aesthetics of its iconic watch, the device has the potential to become a hit. With the official presentation scheduled for July 29, 2026the accessories market could have a new significant player combining tracking functions and classic Casio features.
