Casio G-Shock GMW-BZ5000RC-1: Full Metal Watch with Rainbow Ion Plating Debuts in Europe
12.04.26
Casio has officially introduced the new G-Shock Full Metal GMW-BZ5000RC-1 to the European market. This new release stands out among other series representatives by combining a classic steel case with vibrant accents created through modern metal processing techniques.
Unique Rainbow Ion-Plated Design
The main visual highlight of the model is the rainbow ion plating (IP) on the center part of the case. It is strikingly situated between the silver steel bezel and the case back. Designers also added a thin rainbow line around the negative MIP LCD display with its black background. The case features a mix of matte and mirror finishes, emphasizing the device’s premium status, completed by a classic silver-tone metal bracelet.

Technical Features and Autonomy
The G-Shock GMW-BZ5000RC-1 is not just an accessory but a functional tool. The watch supports Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone, Multiband 6 radio time synchronization, and world time display. Standard features include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, and five independent alarms. Thanks to Tough Solar technology, the battery charges from any light source, and water resistance up to 200 meters allows the watch to be used in any conditions.

Price and Availability in Europe
Currently, the watch is available in the UK for £770 at the official Casio online store. Sales are limited to three units per customer, and promo codes are not applicable. In France, retailer David et Philly has already listed the model at €799, with an estimated sales start in May 2026. The new model is expected to appear in other European Union countries in the near future.
