Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced became the franchise’s most successful release on Steam
14.07.26
The remake of the cult pirate adventure Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced instantly broke records of popularity among Ubisoft games on the Steam platform. According to current statistics, the project attracted a huge number of players, surpassing the results of all previous parts of the series.
Online records
According to SteamDB, activity in the game on the day of release was impressive, with a peak online figure of 99.5 thousand people, and soon this number exceeded the 100 thousand user mark. For comparison, this is much more than other high-profile new products of the company. In particular, the last game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, peaked at 64,825 players on Steam.

Financial success and orders
The success of the new product was predictable even before its official launch. Analysts noted that pre-order figures for the remake significantly exceeded similar figures for another “pirated” game from Ubisoft – Skull & Bones. In addition, pre-sales of Black Flag Resynced were 5.39 times those of Assassin’s Creed Shadows during the identical pre-release stage.
Such an impressive start of sales allows us to say with confidence that the project will become one of the main financial successes of the studio this year.
