When technology holds a punch: BlueBird Tech “Genera-1200” and “Genera-28” have become even stronger

The Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has officially presented a deep update of its flagship autonomous charging stations “Genera-1200” and “Genera-28”. Extreme survivability became the main vector of modernization: the updated versions received a super-strong metal case and specialized impact-resistant glass. Thanks to these changes, the stations are now able to withstand a collision with a military pickup truck and a fall from a height without consequences, which is critical for operation in active combat zones.

Updated series “Genera”

Genera line of autonomous power supplies was initially designed in close cooperation with Ukrainian military personnel. The main task of the devices is to provide a stable power supply where the centralized network is absent or destroyed. The update affected both external protection and internal systems of adaptation to low temperatures, which makes the stations a reliable tool in the winter period.

Genera-1200 Station

The Gener-1200 model is positioned as a universal solution for most digital systems used in the field. Technical parameters of the station:

• Capacity: 1344 W/h;
• Constant power: 700 W;
• Peak power: up to 1000 W;
• Battery type: LiFePO4 (resource up to 3500 cycles);
• Full charging time: 3-4 hours from a 220 V network.

The device is intended for powering communication systems, laptops, thermal imagers, tablets and charging batteries of FPV drones. The built-in MPPT controller allows you to efficiently charge the station from portable solar panels.

Features of “Genera-28”

The specialized model “Genera-28” with a capacity of 1200 W/h is designed specifically for powering energy-intensive equipment that requires a specific voltage. It is ideal for electronic warfare (EW) systems, radios and charging specific batteries of heavy drones.

The station is equipped with 28 and 12 V outputs, as well as USB ports with support for fast charging protocols. Active cooling guarantees stable operation under high load for a long time. The time of full charging is from 2.5 to 3 hours.

Nuances of operation and protection

The key technological advantage of both models is a wide operating temperature range: from -20 °C to +45 °C. The battery heating system deserves special attention. Unlike civilian stations that may refuse to charge after spending the night in the cold, “Genera” automatically warms up the cells, which allows you to start charging immediately after connecting to the network.

BlueBird Tech engineers have also provided comprehensive protection against short circuits and overloads, which protects not only the station itself, but also expensive connected equipment.
