Ugreen Nexode Air 45W easily fits in your pocket and charges laptops
21.05.26
The well-known manufacturer of quality accessories Ugreen presented a new generation compact charger. The Ugreen Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim model was created specifically for those users who value maximum mobility and ergonomics, not wanting to carry bulky, heavy blocks with them.
The novelty is fundamentally different from standard massive “cubes” of power. In its shape and plane, this GaN adapter is more like a bank card or a compact business card. The model received a good plug and a stylish flat body with a thickness of only about 12 mm, and the weight of the accessory is about 53 grams. The charger can be stored without any discomfort in the narrow inner compartments of bags, backpacks or simply in a trouser pocket.

Characteristics of compact charging
The portable network adapter works on new generation semiconductors. Charging supports advanced Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, guaranteeing a reduction in parasitic heating without loss in operating speed. The main characteristics are as follows:
- Output power: up to and including 45 W.
- Output interface: one dedicated USB-C standard connector.
- Thickness of the adapter: only about 12 mm.
- Total weight of the structure: about 53 g.
The power resource of this baby is enough for the accelerated regeneration of the charge of the connecting batteries. As the company’s experts assure, in 30 minutes of connection, the novelty manages to restore the energy reserve of a dead smartphone to approximately 70%, and the battery of a compatible mobile laptop to the level of 34%.

Smart power management and advanced ThermalGuard
The key feature of the device is the built-in intelligent charge monitoring system. Nexode Air 45W adjusts the supplied voltage depending on the state of the gadget being charged: the highest intensity is given precisely in the first phase of the power cycle. As the battery capacity is filled, the electronics gradually reduces the current to prevent dangerous degradation of the smartphone’s power cells.
To exclude out-of-hours events, Ugreen introduced its own thermal protection under the ThermalGuard brand, which monitors temperature peaks in real time. The adapter is protected at the hardware level against short circuits, possible overvoltage and excessive load current.
Date of entering the market
The power adapter has already been launched in official sales channels on the world market. The manufacturer also announced that the ultra-thin charger will take part in a big branded sale as part of the annual Amazon Prime Day initiative, which is scheduled for June 2026.
Charging price
The current price tag of the Nexode Air 45W Charger Slim model for the American segment is about $36 (approximately UAH 1,485). The presence of a modern USB Type-C port, a unique design as thick as a card and protective functions make such a price as justified as possible in everyday use.
