JBL Pulse 6 Brings 360-Degree Lighting and PartyBoost

Обзор JBL Pulse 6: портативная колонка с новым уровнем визуализации звука

JBL continues to evolve the “sound visualization” concept with the sixth iteration of its iconic portable speaker. The new Pulse 6 is designed for users who view an audio device not just as a sound source, but as a key piece of interior design or the centerpiece of a party.

Design and Lighting Features

A key upgrade for the JBL Pulse 6 is the significantly larger LED panel area. The lighting now covers almost the entire interior of the transparent body, creating an immersive 360-degree visual effect. Within the dedicated app, users can customize lighting parameters, including synchronizing pulses with music tempo or choosing calming scenarios for relaxation.

Sound Specs and Durability

The technical foundation of the speaker is the JBL Pro Sound system. It includes a dedicated woofer for bass and a separate tweeter for detailed high-frequency performance. Stable data transmission is ensured by Bluetooth 6.0. The speaker body is IP67-rated, making it resistant to water and dust exposure.

Battery Life and Synchronization

To create a massive soundstage, the speaker supports PartyBoost, allowing users to link multiple JBL devices into a single audio network. Battery life lasts up to 12 hours, though this may decrease when the lighting is set to maximum brightness. Charging is handled via USB-C.

Release Date and Pricing

The speaker has launched in China with a retail price of 2,499 yuan (approximately $370). It is expected that the price on the international market will be comparable, positioning this device as a premium lifestyle gadget.

JBL Pulse 6 is aimed not just at music enthusiasts, but also at those who value a speaker as a decorative element or an atmosphere creator for parties. Expanded lighting, multi-device synchronization, and a rugged body make this model versatile, though the high price point firmly places it in the premium segment.
