Ugreen Debuts 25W Cooling 2-in-1 Wireless Charger With Built-in Display

Ugreen has unveiled its new 25W Cooling 2-in-1 wireless charging station, designed to tackle one of the biggest drawbacks of fast wireless charging: smartphone overheating. In addition to a Qi2-certified magnetic pad, the device features an active cooling system, a display for real-time monitoring, and a secondary coil for accessories.

How the Ugreen Cooling System Works

The station’s standout feature is its thermoelectric cooling (TEC) system, paired with a built-in fan. It pulls heat directly away from the smartphone chassis during charging, which the manufacturer claims maintains the device temperature at approximately 20 °C.

This is particularly crucial when using higher wattage. When a phone overheats, it often throttles wireless charging speeds to protect the battery and internal components. Active cooling allows the device to maintain peak charging speeds for longer periods without significant performance drops.

Display and Design

Ugreen has equipped the station with a small info screen on the front panel. It displays current charging power, device temperature, and other parameters in real-time, allowing users to gauge system efficiency and monitor how much the smartphone is heating up.

The screen and fan can be toggled via physical buttons on the chassis. The design allows for 360-degree rotation of the charging pad and up to 90-degree tilt adjustment. The smartphone can be mounted vertically or horizontally, which is convenient for Standby modes.

The main magnetic pad supports the Qi2 standard and delivers up to 25W of power. A secondary 5W coil is dedicated to charging wireless earbuds or other compatible accessories.
