Spotify adds a tool to transfer music from YouTube Music, Apple Music and other music services

Spotify design 2023

Switching to Spotify from other music services has become more convenient after the announcement of integration with TuneMyMusic. Thanks to this tool, users can now transfer their selections from YouTube Music, Apple Music and other platforms directly through the mobile application.

The function appears in the “My Library” section, where the “Import my songs” button is visible at the bottom of the page. After clicking, the user goes through a few steps to connect to TuneMyMusic, selects another music service and marks the playlists or the entire library of liked tracks that he wants to transfer.

The integration allows you to import both created playlists and saved songs. TuneMyMusic itself is still available as a separate online service, but outside of Spotify it has limitations: free transfer covers no more than five hundred tracks.

In the first half of the year, Apple Music users also received a similar opportunity, where support for import via the SongShift service appeared.
