The Redmi Watch 6 Active smartwatch has officially hit the market. The new device offers impressive battery life, an AMOLED display, and advanced health and activity tracking features.

The device has officially gone on sale in Xiaomi’s Chinese online store. The watch is aimed at users who need a reliable fitness gadget with solid battery life and modern communication features. The model is available in three colors: Gunmetal, Pink Orange, and Silver.

Technical Specifications and Capabilities

The Redmi Watch 6 Active is equipped with a 1.85-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390×450 pixels and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The casing is made of plastic, measures 9.9 mm in thickness, and features IP68 protection, making it resistant to dust and water. The watch weighs only 26g excluding the strap.

It houses a 470 mAh battery, which provides:

  • Up to 6 days of battery life with Always-on display enabled
  • Up to 12 days of battery life in standard usage mode
  • Up to 18 days in power-saving mode

The device supports Bluetooth 5.3 and BLE. It features over 140 sports modes, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep, stress, and calorie tracking. It also includes support for breathing exercises and the ability to make Bluetooth calls.

Currently, the device is priced at 349 CNY (51 USD, 47 EUR / 2155 UAH) in China.

Compatibility and Availability

The smartwatch is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 and above, as well as iOS 14.0 and above. Given the previous product history, it is expected that the Redmi Watch 6 Active will arrive on the European market very soon.
