Samsung has announced two new devices designed to work in difficult conditions – the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro tablet. Both models will go on sale in early June 2025.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is equipped with a 6.6-inch display with Full HD resolution and is built on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The device configuration includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 3. Smartphone. The removable battery capacity is 4350 mAh. The device implements some artificial intelligence-based functions related to the Galaxy AI ecosystem.

The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is another protected Samsung device that has received a 10.1-inch display with WUXGA resolution. The tablet runs on the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor as the smartphone. Depending on the configuration, the amount of RAM is 6 or 8 GB, and the built-in storage is 128 or 256 GB with the ability to expand up to 2 TB with a memory card. The device also supports artificial intelligence functions, in particular the ability to use the Circle to Search function.
The tablet’s battery capacity is 10100 mAh. It supports POGO connectors and a classic 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery can not only be replaced, but also work without it by connecting the device to the docking station. IP68 water and dust resistance also extends to the included S Pen stylus.
