What Is One UI 9.5
One UI 9.5 is the upcoming major update to Samsung’s mobile software. According to leaks, Samsung is actively working on a visual concept shift toward a more modern style.
The changes are centered on adopting a “Liquid Glass” design, which is being widely implemented by many Android manufacturers following Apple’s lead. The new version of One UI is expected to feature translucent elements and improved 3D graphics.
Release Date and Supported Devices
Preliminary forecasts suggest the final release will take place no earlier than the first quarter of 2027. The software will be unveiled alongside a lineup of smartphones including:

New Features: App Lock and Interface Changes

At this moment, premature installation of early internal builds—for instance, on the current Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship—is strongly discouraged. The current version is for demonstration purposes only and contains only the second code iteration intended for internal debugging, not for broad user testing.
