Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro receive Food Can Case series inspired by canned food design
20.04.26
Samsung has introduced a new line of accessories in the US for Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, focusing not on added functionality but on visual concept. The Food Can Case series offers an alternative approach to device personalization, turning a standard charging case into a visually distinctive object inspired by everyday consumer goods.
Visual concept based on familiar product packaging
Instead of conventional accessory design, Samsung draws on recognizable grocery packaging. The lineup includes three variants: a sardines-style case with signature blue graphics, a tomato soup-inspired version in bright red, and a canned corn design in yellow tones.
The design emphasizes realism: graphics, proportions, and even a simulated metal lid contribute to the impression of a miniature can. At the same time, the decorative pull-tab has no functional role — access to the earbuds is handled through the standard case mechanism.
Each case also features a detachable lanyard charm that varies by version, visually reinforcing the theme of the selected “product.”
Functionality limited to protection and aesthetics
The cases were developed in collaboration with Anymode and do not alter the technical capabilities of the device. They include no additional batteries or electronics, meaning they do not affect battery life or expand functionality.
Their primary role is to protect the original charging case from scratches and impacts during everyday use. Each case weighs approximately 40 grams, slightly increasing overall bulk without significantly affecting portability.
In essence, the accessory serves as an outer shell designed for visual differentiation rather than performance enhancement.
Pricing, compatibility, and availability

Each case is priced at $30 in the US market. When purchased together with the earbuds, Samsung offers a discount that reduces the accessory price by approximately 30%.
The Food Can Case series is tailored specifically to the current generation of earbuds and is not compatible with earlier models. At present, availability is limited to the US, with no information on a broader international release.
