09.03.26
Realme has officially introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone in India, the Realme C83 5G. This new addition to the C-series family stands out primarily due to its substantial 7,000mAh battery capacity.
The device is equipped with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen that supports an HD+ resolution. Notably, it offers a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, along with a peak brightness of 900 nits and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
Under the hood, the smartphone utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 2TB.
For photography, the Realme C83 5G relies on a simple setup consisting of a 13MP primary rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The 7,000mAh battery is the phone’s centerpiece, supporting 15W wired charging. Despite the large battery, the device maintains a thickness of 8.4mm and weighs 212g, running on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It also meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards and supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Available in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green, the Realme C83 5G is priced starting at INR 13,499 ($145) for the 4GB/64GB model. The 4GB/128GB version costs INR 14,499 ($160), while the top-tier 6GB/128GB variant is priced at INR 17,499 ($190).
