Nothing Phone (4b): release date, design and specifications
24.06.26
Nothing has officially confirmed the release of a new smartphone series (b) – the model is called Nothing Phone (4b). After a period of speculation, the brand dotted all the i’s by announcing the debut date and demonstrating a current sketch of the device.
When will the presentation of Nothing Phone (4b) take place?
According to the company’s official message, published on social networks and on a special Flipkart page, the world premiere and start of sales in India are scheduled for July 7.
Design and camera: what has changed?
Previously circulating rumors about the presence of a single camera in Nothing Phone (4b) were not confirmed. The new design sketch shows a rectangular camera block, inside of which there is a large vertical oval-shaped module. Its dimensions allow you to place several sensors at the same time.
Next to the main module there is an additional oval notch – probably it is reserved for the LED flash and autofocus sensor. Also on the back panel there is a noticeable horizontal stripe, stylistically reminiscent of the light indication in Nothing Phone (4a). So far, experts disagree on whether this detail is a full-fledged functional lighting element or whether it is purely a design decision.
Technical characteristics of Nothing Phone (4b)
According to Geekbench, the “heart” of the device will be the Qualcomm SM6650 chipset, known to a wide audience as Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. The platform is paired with 8 GB of RAM and the Adreno 810 graphics processor. An important feature will be the use of a fresh software shell – the Android 16 operating system is pre-installed on the smartphone.

Benchmark performance
During synthetic testing, Nothing Phone (4b) demonstrated the following indicators:
- Single-core test: 1,088 points
- Multi-core test: 3,155 points
Place in the line and design features
Nothing Phone (4b) is positioned as a more affordable solution, occupying a niche below the current Nothing Phone (4a) series. Despite its budget positioning, the device, judging by the teasers, will retain its signature transparent body design. The smartphone will probably be equipped with the recognizable LED backlight, which has become the hallmark of the Phone (4a) series models.
Should we expect a new product?
Nothing continues to pursue a unique visual language with transparent elements and unusual geometric camera shapes. Considering the confirmed release date (July 7, 2026), fans of the brand will soon be able to evaluate what other surprises the manufacturer has prepared in the new (b)-series. There’s not long to wait. The device promises to be an interesting update in the mid-price segment with a focus on premium appearance.
