Lenovo Legion Go Fold – portable console with a huge folding display
09.03.26
At the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Lenovo demonstrated a prototype of the Lenovo Legion Go Fold portable console. The device continues the company’s experiments with non-standard form factors and foldable displays. At the same time, the novelty runs on Windows and can be used not only as a gaming system, but also as a compact laptop.
Foldable screen and transforming body
The Legion Go Fold is based on a decent POLED display. When folded, its diagonal is 7.7 inches, when unfolded – 11.6 inches. The declared refresh rate is 165 Hz.

In the basic scenario, the device is used as a portable console: part of the screen is bent back and the form factor resembles classic solutions in the segment. When unfolded, the user gets a much larger working area, and the screen can be oriented both horizontally and vertically.
The side controllers are detachable. When magnetically connected, they turn into a separate gamepad.
A console with a laptop function
Legion Go Fold is positioned not only as a gaming system. You can connect a keyboard with a trackpad to the device and use it in laptop mode. The Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (Lunar Lake) processor is responsible for performance, the configuration includes 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB storage.

The battery capacity is 48 Wh. Given the 11.6-inch screen with a high refresh rate, one should not expect long-term battery life. However, this is a concept, and the specifications may be revised at the time of a possible commercial release.
So far, Lenovo has not announced a release date for the device. The Legion Go Fold remains a demonstration of the direction in which the company is ready to develop portable gaming PCs.
