LEGO presented a detailed constructor of the Hubble Space Telescope

The Hubble Space Telescope, which has been in orbit since 1990, has revolutionized astronomy. To pay tribute to this iconic device, the LEGO company has announced a large-scale constructor for fans of space and technology.

This is already the second attempt of the Danish manufacturer to reproduce the Hubble in cubes. The first thematic set was released in 2021, but the new version greatly exceeds its predecessor in terms of size and degree of elaboration of details.

Features of the Hubble Space Telescope kit

The novelty is a significant constructor consisting of 1252 elements. LEGO engineers paid special attention to the accuracy of the original: the finished model is equipped with moving elements such as solar panels, lenses and antenna systems, making it not just a static exhibit, but a highly detailed model of the telescope.

The dimensions of the assembled device are 32×38×38 cm. Thanks to these dimensions, the set will become a spectacular element of any space-themed collection.

Interaction with the designer will be as convenient as possible thanks to modern digital technologies. The set fully supports 3D instructions in the LEGO Builder app, which makes the assembly process easier and understandable for users of all ages

Release date and price

The appearance of the novelty in retail sales is expected on August 1. The official price is set at $140 (approximately UAH 5,600 equivalent).
