21.03.24
Epic Games held its own State of Unreal presentation at the GDC conference, where it shared news.
General manager of Epic Games Steve Allison (Steve Allison) announced that in 2024 the company will release a mobile version of the EGS program.
In it, gamers will be able to view the catalog of the service, pay for purchases, and receive information about promotions.
In addition to PC games, the iOS and Android versions of EGS will allow downloadable mobile apps and tools to create them, and developers will be able to monetize them.
We can assume that the application will also implement alternative methods of identification for entering the application on a PC. As it is already in mobile Steam, which generates a QR code for login on a computer.
The Epic Games Store already has 270 million active users, and you can be sure that with the help of a mobile offering, the company will significantly increase its audience and increase its revenue.
