Edifier HECATE G5 MAX is a new gaming headset that sets records for autonomy, offering up to 305 hours of operation from a single charge. The device is aimed at demanding gamers and streamers, combining advanced sound technologies and modern wireless interfaces.
Positioning
The novelty is designed as a universal solution for long gaming sessions. The headset supports THX Spatial Audio+ and meets Hi-Res Audio standards, providing high quality sound transmission.

The design is based on 53-mm speakers with a titanium-coated diaphragm. Engineers have achieved deep bass and clear midrange and high frequencies while maintaining a distortion level of less than 1%.
Technical features and characteristics

One of the key technologies in the G5 MAX is THX Spatial Audio+, which creates a virtual 7.1.4 environment. This is a critically important function of determining the direction of enemy steps or shots in shooters.

- Bluetooth: 6.0 with SBC and LHDC 5.0 codec support
- Operating mode: 2.4GHz wireless with low latency
- Microphones: two ENC microphones + detachable 9.75 mm directional microphone with AI noise reduction
- Battery: 2000 mAh
Autonomy and communications
The integrated battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh allows the headphones to work for up to 305 hours, which is significantly higher than most competitors on the market. Support for Bluetooth 6.0 and the ability to switch to 2.4 GHz mode with low latency ensure a stable connection in all conditions.

The voice recording system consists of an external 9.75 mm detachable microphone and a pair of ENC microphones that work in conjunction with artificial intelligence algorithms to eliminate extraneous sounds in the room.
Release date and price
The headset went on sale in the US on July 1, 2026. The recommended retail price of the device is 6,200 hryvnias ($150).
