DuRoBo Moodi: compact Bluetooth controller turns pages on Krono e-reader
15.07.26
DuRoBo has expanded its Krono e-reader ecosystem by introducing a new accessory – the Moodi wireless page switcher with Bluetooth 5.4 support. This compact two-button controller allows you to control the book from a distance, making the reading process even more comfortable.
What is DuRoBo Moodi?
Moodi is a portable remote control specifically designed to interface with E-ink devices. The main feature of the device is the possibility of customization: the kit includes six replaceable button caps decorated with various emojis, which allows you to customize the appearance of the device to suit the user’s mood.

The functionality of the controller is provided by three operating modes:
- Reading: optimized for turning pages of e-books.
- Media: allows you to remotely control your media player.
- Browsing: makes it easier to scroll through web pages.
Technical characteristics and design
The controller is highly portable thanks to its minimal weight of only 18 g (0.63 oz). For ease of carrying, there is a special hole for a lanyard on the case.
A 90 mAh lithium battery is installed inside the device. According to the developers from DuRoBo, the battery charge lasts for several weeks of active use. A modern USB-C interface is used for charging.
Price and availability
The suggested retail price (MSRP) for DuRoBo Moodi is $35.99 (1,485 UAH). The gadget is already available for purchase on the Amazon platform.
Is Moodi worth buying?
If you actively use the DuRoBo Krono e-reader or similar devices, Moodi will be a useful addition. In terms of its characteristics and purpose, the gadget competes with the well-known Boox Tappy controller, which is used with readers such as Boox Go 6. Advertising materials claim that the ability to turn pages without touching the device screen significantly reduces hand fatigue during long reading, which from our point of view is questionable. Therefore, it is unlikely that this device will be popular in Ukraine, but from the point of view of the interesting application of modern technologies, such a controller certainly deserves attention.
